[edit] Üalabio
Why have you reverted Üalabio's edits to your user page and his addition at Rfd without trying to discuss your concerns or edits with him? I have been appreciative of your work at wikipedia for some time now. I also know Üalabio, and he is not a troll, POV Warrior definitely but never a troll. Please contact Üalabio via his talk page and explain your reasoning, rather than reverting any attempt he makes at contacting you. Thanks. -JCarriker 03:16, Sep 16, 2004 (UTC)
- Thank you. Üalabio is quite passionate but reasonable. Please, explain to him what you found offensive about his language and tactics, I believe you will find him willing to learn and make friends rather than enemies. :) -JCarriker 03:52, Sep 16, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Reversion?
I uploaded the second version of Image:Kuribo shoe SMB3.PNG because I thought it was more informative of the item's use in the game. It's the only item in the game (not counting the Hammer Brothers suit) that both the player and NPCs can use. Is it just your preference, or is there some policy I'm not aware of? ~ FriedMilk 07:31, Sep 16, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] History of Greenland
Why do you beleive that the timeline is fair use? It seems a copyright violation to me. Clearly we could easily make our own version. And why are you changing dates to CE and BCE? [[1]] says either is acceptable. Rmhermen 04:41, Sep 17, 2004 (UTC)
- As I understand it, part of claiming an image is fair use requires providing an explanation of why you think it is on the image page. Rmhermen 05:15, Sep 17, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Removing the VfD notice
Neutrality, even if you make improvements to an article that is listed on VfD, even if you rewrite it completely, you shouldn't remove the VfD notice. Referring to Cocaine Anonymous. - Cymydog Naakka 10:46, 17 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] RFC
I've responded to your "charge". If you withdraw it, I'll withdraw my response. I'd say you have little room to make such accusations. Oh, and feel free to delete this comment, if you want. -- Netoholic @ 17:03, 2004 Sep 17 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Holidays Wikiproject
- That makes sense. It's a shame that we were inactive. We need some more publicity for the project. — Ilγαηερ (Tαlκ) 21:39, 17 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Food photos
You can't believe how intrigued I am by the fact that there is now a food category in Wikipedia:List of images--because yesterday morning I went to that page to add some food photos, noticed that there wasnt' a category, looked around a bit for an appropriate image, then realized that finding the image, adjusting the main page table to add the link, creating the new page with its header and table, etc. etc. was just way more time than I wanted to spend at that time. Now--there it is! If I had known that I could get my wikipedia goals accomplished by telepathy, I'd have tried it sooner! Anyway--thanks. :-) Elf | Talk 22:32, 18 Sep 2004 (UTC)

- No, I was more looking for names that I recalled had been involved in previous discussions/edits on the topic of Israel etc. I figured they would have an informed opinion. Jayjg 06:05, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Quoting style
I have noticed you have changed the position of the comma on the Featured Article three times now, after I have corrected it. Please stop it – the Manual of Style states that punctuation should only be put inside of inverted commas if it belongs there. —Wereon 16:45, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Copyright notices
Why did you change the copyright notice on Lemon-breasted Flycatcher without authorisation from the copyright holder? Please do not do that again. Tannin 23:39, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Featured picture
Can you point to the featured picture candidate discussion where Antarctica satellite globe was nominated (and supported)? You've put that picture on Wikipedia:Featured pictures, but I can't find the nomination of it. --Conti|✉ 09:15, Sep 20, 2004 (UTC)
- That would be here. It was unanimous. — David Remahl 09:32, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Neutrality has recently moved three nominations from Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates without creating the needed archive entries for them. These are Bikini, ChessSet and Antarctica satellite globe. Ideally, Neutrality will now go back and create these archive entries into Wikipedia:Featured pictures candidates/Archive-05 and Wikipedia:Featured pictures candidates/September-2004, but if he or someone else does not do it by tonight, I'll do it. - [[User:Bevo|Bevo]] 12:56, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Doh, spent 10 mintutes trying to track what happened with the candidates, finally it leads me straight to this discussion, lets fix it! -- Solitude 14:53, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Most happily, I thank you for your kind and generous remarks on my talk page. I shall certainly endeavor to ensure that your declaration, "May the number of featured articles written by you continue to expand," comes true. (Though my previous writings may not show it, I am interested in American government—I live in the United States—and am planning to write about some of the more notable nineteenth century Presidents of the U.S.) -- Emsworth 20:12, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Adminship
Yes, I would gladly accept the nomination for adminship. Thank you. • Benc • 22:34, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] A confused new user
I have been using Wikipedia for the better part of three months now, and I am finding it to be a great resource. However, browsing for information today I was slightly surprised to see that I had a new message. Upon investigation I encountered a page for an IP address, which was not mind, accused by your username for vandalism. I also noticed that this page had been blanked numerous times. As I rarely make edits - I believe I've only ever made three - do I need to do something, or should I just ignore this? The page I was directed to told me to create a user account, so, now I am a happy new "official" Wikipedia user. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I apologize in advance if this is not the right forum to express my concerns. TheProject 04:01, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks about my photos
Thanks for the comment. It is always nice to be appreciated. I will slowly add more photographs as appropriate for articles. Photography is a hobby of mine as I think I mention on my page. --CloudSurfer 10:31, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] .PNG?
Hi Neutrality, thanks for the nominations of my photos on Featured picture candidates. I was wondering why you converted them to .png? As I understand it .jpg is the preferred format. Regards -- sannse (talk) 16:56, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] On quotation marks
I don't see anything in the recent discussion on the quotation marks that suggests you should unilaterally change what has been, I believe, long standing practice. Jallan 02:50, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] I feel like vandalising your userpage
But I won't, because I've been banned for that sort of thing before. I just thought it'd be cool to be on your MOST WANTED VANDALISERS list. Could you just add me to it anyway? -- Your friend and colleague: EDGE 05:06, Sep 22, 2004 (UTC)
