[edit] US AFA
Hi, good work with the rv on the air force academy, I'm afraid your latest revert action, however, eliminated the section headings I added - perhaps we can keep those? Krupo 20:42, Aug 29, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Adminship
Hi, Neutrality. It's nice to see you again. Thank-you very much for supporting me at the requests for adminship page. Unfortunately, I just noticed that I do not have 1,906 like the page says. In reality, I have about 1,492 edits. Of course, you can feel free to change your vote if you deem it necessary- you have my appreciation either way. -[[User:Frazzydee|Frazzydee|✍]] 23:22, 29 Aug 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Admin
I don't know. My stance on it is that I won't say no or yes either way. I'm indecisive...so it's probably best that I don't take it right now. Mike H 01:37, Aug 31, 2004 (UTC)
- I thought it over. :-) As I said, my workload is not that hard, and I do wish to patrol RC for my duties. I can handle it and I think now is the time for nomination. As of this contribution, I have 7,255 edits. Mike H 01:48, Aug 31, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] RfM
You might want to be a little more careful when dealing with conflicting parties in future. With Gzornenplatz and VeryVerily, it seems like you might have unwittingly poured petrol on the fire. Ambi 06:31, 31 Aug 2004 (UTC)
[edit] archiving the dispute on your username
I am not saying that your username should be changed. I am just concerned that you archived an ongoing debate on a subject that involved you. It could be seen as a deceptive move. --metta, The Sunborn ☸ 15:03, 1 Sep 2004 (UTC)
I know it was ongoing because I posted an entire section yesterday. If it was an honest mistake, please make sure it doesn't happen again. --metta, The Sunborn ☸ 19:13, 1 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Allegations of personal attacks by Gzornenplatz
The allegations you made against Gzornenplatz on VV's talk page are completely unsubstantiated, and I can find no evidence to validate your claim. I have found no instance of a personal attack by Gzornenplatz against VV on the RfM page, or any other forum for that matter. Please either withdraw your allegation or substantiate it. Kevin Baas | talk 20:03, 2004 Sep 1 (UTC)
[edit] Gz
Thanks for your note. I don't consider you responsible for what Gzornenplatz, or anyone other than you, does. FWIW, I don't feel personally attacked by him, unless by that you mean only that he is campaigning against me. Anyway, I don't know what I was thinking putting the Bush article back on my watchlist after two blissful months without it. VV 20:04, 1 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] "This is a matter between..."
Firstly, I am a party involved in the mediation.
Secondly, you should recuse yourself because you are an involved contributor on the George W. Bush page.
Thirdly, your unsubstantiated accusation against Gz, which VV even denies, is completely irrelevant to the RfM, which is about the actions of VV, not Gz.
Fourthly, I am simply making objective phenomomenological statements, and i have every right to do that no matter what the context, and esp. in this context where I, unlike you who should recuse yourself, am an involved party. Kevin Baas | talk 20:14, 2004 Sep 1 (UTC)
[edit] Vandal count
Hey, the vandal count, while sad, is also funny. I'm waiting to see someone vandalize the vandal count (i.e., increase it to four and leave that as the act of vandalism), just for the comedic value. ;) Krupo 20:43, Sep 1, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Thanks for the kind words of welcome, Neutrality. I'm looking forward to contributing more to the Wiki.Whosyourjudas 03:33, 2 Sep 2004 (UTC)
I plan to stick around; I've got some articles in mind. I'm interested in most things; I've got better knowledge in math and computer areas, as well as some various science fields. Wikipedia especially interested me because of the social networking of it; I find it very cool. Whosyourjudas 03:48, 2 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] self-reference
Could you please see my question at Talk:Political_correctness#self-reference -- Jmabel 19:11, Sep 2, 2004 (UTC)
- continued; BTW, I'm about to be incommunicado for at least 6 hours, maybe longer. -- Jmabel 20:37, Sep 2, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Committee of Diplomats & Commanders for Change
Neutrality, "Committee of Diplomats & Commanders for Change" is the official name, as demonstrated by "Paid for by the Committee of Diplomats & Commanders for Change".
Shouldn't the popular name redirect to the official name (but I agree having the popular name too is good, and I thank your for adding it). -- orthogonal 15:38, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Response from Academic Challenger
Hi Neutrality. Thank you for your kind message. I would accept your nomination for adminship. Academic Challenger 22:24, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Neo-Nazi subcats
I'm not entirely clear on how the new categories break down, or how 'movements' go with 'concepts' ... could you please give a quick explanation of how you see this? Thanks :-) - David Gerard 16:52, 4 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Proofreading call to arms
Greetings, Neutrality. I took the liberty of listing you as a proofreader on the draft m:Wikimedia Newsletter masthead ('copyeditor' proved too hard for many translators to cope with, so I just used 'proofreader' everywhere), so I hope you can actually help out with copyediting/prufing the newsletter as it progresses.
We will have a first draft of the newsletter by this Tuesday night (ca. 23:59 UTC), at which point we will need serious copyediting (both changing the original and writing emendation notes to the authors, so they can quickly review the changes). A final draft will be available for layout and prufing by Friday. Let me know at meta whether any of this interests you...

[edit] Support
Thank you very much for your nomination and support during my recent run for adminship. It was very much appreciated. Thank you for having so much faith in me. I really can't go wrong having you for my WikiFriend. Mike H 03:21, Sep 7, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Tampa Wikimeet
Pardon the impersonality; I'm pasting this on every Wikiuser's page who lives in eastern Florida. We're scheduling a Wikimeet this Saturday, September 11. Jimbo still has to decide the place but he's looking into Panera Bread locations here in Tampa. Please post on User:Jimbo Wales and tell us if you're interested in coming. Thanks! [edit] Trolling?
Erm. I'm not, I'm making a perfectly reasonable point about pointing out other calendar systems on the date pages. Moooo! 02:59, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you, Neutrality
Hi, Neutrality. And thanks for your note asking me if I'd like to be nominated for an adminship. I'm honored that you thought of me. I have to say that I've been here for just two months, which seems on the low end for administrators who've been accepted, and I haven't counted my edits lately, but they're probably still fewer than 1000. That said, and if those stats doesn't cause you to reconsider, I believe that I have made some solid contributions to the community, I expect to make many more, and I gladly accept your putting me in nomination. Whatever you decide, I appreciate your considering me. ffirehorse 03:47, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Sounds great to me. Again, thank you. ffirehorse 03:51, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Re:Thanks!
Oh, it's no problem, I was just patroling the RC at the time. — Ilγαηερ (Tαlκ) 22:33, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] thanks
thanks for the welcome note.
