[edit] Louisa McLaughlin
{{helpme}}My article Louisa McLaughlin displays perfectly in Firefox, Netscape and Opera but has suddenly started looking a mess in IE7. The blue arowed square icon which should be next to the bracketed number of an external reference now appears several spaces away, overprinting the black type. Please tell me how to correct this. - Sorry, I can't see the problem in either Firefox or IE7. Where abouts on the page is it? Stwalkerster [ talk ] 17:45, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- I don't see a problem either, but you may want to read WP:FN for help with footnote syntax. Hoof Hearted (talk) 17:47, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks everybody for trying to help. Wikipedia was in no way at fault. I reset IE7 and now all is well. Neurolinguist (talk) 19:33, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] SMOG name
SMOG is suppose to stand for "Simple Measure of Gobbledygook" or is it actually a backronym? As a name like Gunning Fog Index which supposedly measure the "foggyness" of text? — Dispenser 01:18, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
