Anyone ranking this on the business scale should note that the primary business significance of this company is that when purchased by MySQL its technology was used as the basis for MySQL's Falcon database storage engine, a significant event in the open source database world since it is in effect a partial respnse to Oracle buying the InnoDB engine.
