[edit] Networx-BG
Networx Bulgaria is the largest ISP in Rousse, Bulgaria. It has more than 20,000 home and business users, and runs its own fiber-optic infrastructure. The company is also in the process of building the first Wi-Fi coverage of a city in Bulgaria, namely Rousse. The project is estimated to be completed by summer 2007.
As of May 2007, the company has 50 employees in Rousse, and it has invested about $2.0 mln. in infrastructure for 2006 alone.
In May 2007 the company also bought the Romanian ISP Metronet based in Giurgiu, Romania. Networx-BG has plans to invest heavily in the fiber-optics infrastructure of Giurgiu in order to provide similar Internet services as in city of Rousse.
Each spring the company organizes the Zone Networx house party on the city square of Rousse, which attracts a large number of fans. [1]
