Network Administration Visualized (NAV) is an open source network monitoring and management system developed by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
It offers automatic discovery of network topology, network load and can alert you if one of your devices goes down, by email and SMS. It also makes use of SNMP for management features, may be used for device management and much more.
