Nettie Mayersohn

Nettie Mayersohn is a member of the New York State Assembly, representing the 27th District in Flushing, Queens. After a long history of community activism, and after serving as the Executive Director of the New York State Crime Victims Board, she was first elected to the Assembly in 1982 on the Democratic and Liberal Party tickets. She has two sons and four grandchildren. Mayersohn is most known for her Baby AIDS Bill.
