Netspace
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Netspace is one of Australia's major Internet service providers. The company focuses primarily on ADSL-based Internet access. Netspace started in the early 1990s offering dial-up internet access, as was the standard at the time. Today Netspace is one of the more successful smaller ISPs in Australia, along with iiNet and Internode. The company is headquartered in Camberwell, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria.
Netspace is still run by the original founders - Stuart Marburg (Managing Director) and Richard Preen (Technical Director).
Netspace sell ADSL and dial-up connections for home, SOHO and business customers. ADSL is purchased through a wholesale agreement with Telstra, although Netspace have indicated they are trialing their own DSLAM's. They also offer VOIP, resold phone services (Encircle), web, mail & DNS hosting, co-location hosting and they provide content filtering for Victorian public schools.
