Netani Sukanaivalu

Netani Sukanaivalu is a Fijian academic, former naval officer, and political leader, who was appointed to the interim Cabinet as Minister for Education on 9 January 2006.
A former lecturer at the Fiji Institute of Technology, he is a reserve officer in the Fijian Navy holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He now runs a business and was an unsuccessful candidate for the National Alliance Party in the 2006 parliamentary election.
