NetDirector

NetDirector is an open source and extensible framework for managing service configurations.

NetDirector was placed in the public domain by Emu Software in April 2006 and licensed under a modified version of the Mozilla Public license, the NetDirector Public License.

NetDirector provides a Web-accessible GUI for the management of the following services:

  • HTTP (Apache)
  • DNS (BIND)
  • DHCP
  • File and Print Services (Samba, NFS)
  • Email (Postfix, Sendmail)
  • FTP (VSFTP)
  • Users and Groups (mass add users to multiple servers at once)
  • Network Interfaces
  • Numerous System files
  • LDAP (OpenLDAP and Fedora Directory Services)
  • Kerberos (Beta)
  • Red Hat Network - interfaces with the RHEL update tool
