Netants included a CRC check for Zip archives, if it fails after download, the program redownloads the broken parts of the file.

- Does not natively work with Mozilla Firefox. (The Firefox extension, FlashGot enables Firefox integration.)
- It will not download from servers that won't tell the size of the file (See the FAQ on the netants page relating to "The actual size of downloading file is unknown").
- NetAnts Hasn't been updated in years.
- Includes Spyware (http://cexx.org/dummies.htm has help for that).
- Downloading using mirrors is not supported.
- Windows Vista not supported
