[edit] Shingles
It's hardly completely my own work. I wrote herpes zoster but soon discovered that shingles was extant, and I merged a lot of that into the article. We had a nice presentation in our hospital recently about chickenpox in adults, which prompted me to give the article a little overhaul. Thanks for your kind words. [edit] When Will You Be Thanked?
Salve, Neschek!
Thanks for your answer on the WP:RD re the Maroon 5 video. I kept thinking the mother looked like Stockard Channing but knew it wasn't her. So we have a start.
Say, are you going to Miami? I was just in Oxford on Sunday and live in Warren County. PedanticallySpeaking 19:00, Mar 9, 2005 (UTC)

- Just passing through. Sunday was such a beautiful day and I took a ride, finding myself in Oxford in time. PedanticallySpeaking 19:05, Mar 9, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Infocom was responsible for the bulk of games I bought my first few years in college, and I want to try and make the articles about the company and the games as complete as possible. It's always nice to hear compliments, thank you very much! -DynSkeet 19:15, Apr 20, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Famous Miamians
Salve, Neschek!
Hope this message finds you well. I wrote an article this week on General Durbin Ward, who attended Miami back in the 1840's. I added him to the Miami University article, which has a list of grads and people who went there, but it was deleted by a newer user (he has 30 edits). I wonder, as someone associated with Miami (famously or otherwise), if you'd offer your two cents at Talk:Miami University#Durbin Ward. PedanticallySpeaking 14:31, Apr 21, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Intraspecific Breeding
I have reverted the edit you made to intraspecific breeding. A liger is not an example of intraspecific breeding and was one of the reasons why the article was originally nominated for vfd by Rick - because the information it contained was incorrect. Megan1967 06:48, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Canadian Extreme Wrestling Party
I agree. It was pretty dire. I doubt that anything more need be added to that article. If there weer a VfD, I would only half-heartedly oppose it, even though I'm responsible for creating most of the article about Canadian fringe parties. Ground Zero 16:26, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Ronglokepy
Just wanted to let you know that the creator of the ronglokepy article vandalized your user page twice. I reverted and warned him, and will block him the next time he does anything (he also vandalized the maple syrup article). Thanks for nominating articles for speedy deletion. [edit] speedies
Heya, thanks for helping out on RC patrol, but please make sure articles have no revisions that aren't speedies before marking them as such. --fvw* 01:14, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] A request for assistance
Would you support the concept of moving the Earhart "myths" to a separate page or article? The reason for my suggesting this is that the main article should be an accurate and scholarly work while the speculation and conspiracy theories surrounding the disappearance of Amelia Earhart are interesting, they belong in a unique section. Most researchers, as you know, discount the many theories and speculation that has arisen in the years following her last flight. Go onto the Earhart discussion page and register your vote/comments...and a Happy New Year to you as well. Bzuk 03:02 3 January 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Sofapunch back from the dead
I was reading the talk page for Miami University and saw your (old) comment about Sofapunch. The band is no longer around here in Oxford, but was probably put on the MU page because all the students recognize the name and for a while, the band was involved with a lot of university-sanctioned social functions. I agree that it probably shouldn't be in the article, but now you have some background info. Smolamj (talk) 03:30, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
