Nestor Papoutsis 28 August 1975 in Berlin, Germany) is a Greek basketball player, son of Greek father and Yugoslav mother. With a height of 202 cm (6 ft. 7 in.) he played on forward position. Famous for his provocative long-distance shots (three-pointer) against defense and also for his very remarkable skills as leader of a team, he did change after a short debut at German champion ALBA Berlin directly to the Greek team Aris Thessaloniki. Despite successful appearances and games but also due injury misfortune, he decided to change to his other passion the medicine. During his career he played at ASV Berlin, DBV Charlottenburg, ALBA Berlin, Hellas Berlin and Olympiakos Berlin as also for the college team of FU Berlin.
Meanwhile Nestor Papoutsis degreed successfully in 2001 at the Humboldt University of Berlin medicine school and is an active physician.
