Neshama Carlebach

Neshama Carlebach (נשמה קרליבך), daughter of the legendary Jewish singer-songwriter Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach is a singer in her own right, the protege of her late father.

Neshama Carlebach, born in 1974, began training as a singer and actor at the age of 5 and began singing with her father, Shlomo Carlebach, at 15. She began her professional career three weeks after her father's death in 1994. She met her producer, David Morgan, in 1996, resulting in musical collaboration and arrangements of songs written by her father.

Carlebach performs in a number of venues, including Jewish Community Centers, synagogues, Hillels, clubs, and summer camps worldwide and is star and co-creator of a new musical play about her father's life: "Shlomo, The House of Love and Prayer."
