Nesbyen

Nesbyen is a small village in Nes municipality of Norway, with about 3500 inhabitants, located in the middle of southern Norway and a railroad stop along the line between Oslo and Bergen.

This is listed as the location with the highest recorded temperature in Norway, with a record of 35.6° C.[citation needed]

Thanks to income from hydro power stations in the area, the small town is very well-off.

Outdoor activities in the area are: Golf, skiing, swimming, hiking.
