[edit] Summary

Nestling Mourning Doves and their mother in Wisconsin, USA. The mother had at least three sets of baby birds in summer of 2004. They hatch after two weeks and fledge in two more. Just after I took the closeup, the mother gave a distress call and flew away. 2 days later, the nestlings were also gone. (original description [1])
