Nerve-sparing surgery

Nerve-sparing surgery is a type of surgery that attempts to save the nerves near the tissues being removed. It is commonly applied in Radical retropubic prostatectomy. Surgeons may visually identify nerves or apply a diagnostic test to verify nerves.
