Dr.Nerella Venu Madhav or popularly known as NV is a famous Ventriloquist (mimicry artist). He was born in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh, India.

He was born in a small village in Warangal district.

His range of imitations is very vast in breadth.He rose to popularity, coming from a village, imitating celebrities, politicians, local dialects, Nizams etc.
He received a national award, Padmashri presented by the Government of India, for performing arts in 2001. He also received Sri Raja-Lakshmi Foundation award in 1981.
Among his students, the popular ventriloquist Harikishen who was impressed by Venu Madhav, chose to nurture the craft.
