A kidney.
A kidney.

A Wikipedian. The name Nephron comes from the structural unit of the kidney. I have an interest in nephrology and started the Wikipedia Nephrology project. I also started the Wikipedia Pathology and Wikipedia Radiology projects.

I've been around WP since late 2004 and signed-up in mid-2005. I have a couple of thousand edits.

I am a MD. My undergraduate studies were in engineering.

[edit] Why Wikipedia?

  • “Imagine a world in which every single person on the planet is given free access to the sum of all human knowledge. That’s what we’re doing.” - Jimbo Wales in a Slashdot interview.
  • Wikipedia measures well against Britannica according to Nature.[1][2]
