Neptunes WPSC

Neptunes WPSC is a leading waterpolo club from San Giljan in Malta. Founded in 1929, it has won all the major waterpolo honours in its coveted history. One of its most notable coaches was Italian Gianni Lonzi.

The club has won two summer leagues on the trot in 2006 and 2007 under Croatian coach Sergio Afric. In 2007 Maltese clubs were allowed to sign a foreign player and Neptune's choice was none other than the serbian captain Vladimir Vujasinovic. Recently one of the club's young talents Stevie Camilleri joined VK Partizan on a 6 month loan deal after being suggested to the club officials by Vladimir Vujasinovic. The club has other very promising youngsters like Sean Gravina, Timmy Aguis, Ryan Sciortino and Jordan Cammileri who is Stevie Camilleri's younger brother.

The club also boasts the best swim school in Malta. Swimmers such as Dr.Angela Galea, Neil Agius and Talisa Pace are amongst the best in Malta and the three of them represented Malta at the Olympic Games or LEN European Championships. The top sqaud is coached by Gail Rizzo who also is a Neptunes WPSC product and also represented Malta at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games
