Neptune's Daughter (1949) is an Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer musical starring Esther Williams, Red Skelton, Ricardo Montalbán, Betty Garrett, Keenan Wynn, and Xavier Cugat, directed by Edward Buzzell, and featuring music by Frank Loesser.
The movie was filmed partly on location at Weeki Wachee Springs in Florida. Neptune's Daughter features the song "Baby It's Cold Outside" in two performances, one by Montalbán and Williams and the other by Skelton and Garrett. Loesser won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for the song, which had been originally written by him and his wife in 1944 for a housewarming party.
