[edit] Business

Neponset has one gas station that was built within the last decade. The residents are very pleased with this since they no longer need to go to the nearby town of Kewanee for gas and items of convenience. It should be noted, however, that this is a major portion of the Business District. Also this is the headquarters for Martin Engineering, Lindbeck Auto Sales and Mike's Barbershop (Mike has been cutting hair for over sixty years and has never raised the price of his cuts which is $1.75).[citation needed]
