Nepenthes philippinensis (pronounced /nəˈpɛnθiːz fɪlɪpɪnˈɛnsɪs/, from Latin: Philippin = Philippines, -ensis = from) is a species of pitcher plant endemic to Palawan Island in the Philippines. It is very closely related to N. alata.
Nepenthes wilkiei was described by Matthew Jebb and Martin Cheek in 1998.[1] This taxon was subsequently found to be conspecific with N. philippinensis.[2]
