Nepenthes lavicola (pronounced /nəˈpɛnθiːz ˈlævɪˌkəʊlə/, from Latin: lavicola = growing upon lava) is a Nepenthes pitcher plant species native to Sumatra. It is thought to be most closely related to N. singalana and N. spectabilis.
