Nepenthes lamii (pronounced /nəˈpɛnθiːz ˈlæmiːaɪ/, after Herman Johannes Lam) is a species of pitcher plant native to the island of New Guinea, where it grows at an altitude of over 3 km above sea level, higher than any other Nepenthes species.[1] It does not appear to have any close realtives in the genus.
