Nepanagar is a city and a municipality in Khandwa district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Nepanagar is famous for its newspaper paper mill, Nepa Mills Limited. It is also notable for its small railway station on the central railway between Burhanpur and Khandwa.

As of 2001 India census[1], Nepanagar had a population of 31,658. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Nepanagar has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 61%. In Nepanagar, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
