Nepal Student Union is student's wing of Nepali Congress party.

The organization was formed during autocratic Panchayat era. It was formed in 1971 in kathmandu. The Founding members of NSU were as follows 1) Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuba 2) Mr. Arjun Narsingh K.C 3) Mr. Bipin Koirala 4) Mr Marshal Julum Sakya
The first student movement was held in 1979 for the sake of free student union and for the restoration of democracy in Nepal. Nepal student Union exercises the principle of Nationality, Democracy, Socialism, and Student Unity.
