[edit] Fear of the Dark (live) article
Hello,
I would just like to tell you that I've made the said article in the headline a redirect to Fear of the Dark (song). I'm doing this because having two articles on the same thing isn't necessary. I asked on the talk page of Wikipedia:WikiProject_Songs prior to making the article and they said it's best to have only one article on the matter. — Prodigenous Zee -
Ohh, i'm sorry, i tought it was better to have an article for the album and other for the song. So Fear_of_the_Dark_(song) is ok, i will make other singles. Then someone can add information about the title-track of the single in the same article. Like Sanctuary. Neo139 21:48, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Sanctuarysingle.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Sanctuarysingle.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Infobox you made for the "Women in Uniform" article...
Hello,
I see that you changed the old infobox for the "Women in Uniform" article and replaced it with a new one. Only problem here is that you used the wrong infobox. The infobox you used is for albums. Since you got that infobox from Wikipedia:WikiProject_Albums, didn't you think that it was for albums and not singles (sorry if this sounds rude, I'm not trying to be rude)? Anyway, the proper infobox that you should use is Template:Infobox_Single and the proper Wikiproject for singles is Wikipedia:WikiProject_Songs. :-) — Prodigenous Zee - 04:29, 22 July 2006 (UTC) ohh, sorry, i confused :S. Thanks for fixing it. I will pay attention from now on, on that thing. --Neo139 08:00, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Battle of Valmourt (EP)
Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Battle of Valmourt (EP). Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! Kimchi.sg 16:42, 22 July 2006 (UTC) ok, i put it into blank, because i changed the other links of the article, but ok, from now on i put redirects. --Neo139 19:59, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Jimbo Wales/In many languages...
I noticed your addition of Visual Basic to User:Jimbo Wales/In many languages... and was wondering if you immediately removed it because it was causing display probelms with the chart? Anyway, I've fixed it. If you removed it for some other reason (e.g., it's not correct), feel free to remove it or make any necessary changes. --334 02:19, 23 July 2006 (UTC) yes, i removed it because the table crashed, im not expert with tables on wikipedia :S. Thanks for fixing it. --Neo139 02:27, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Moving pages
Here is a good tip for moving pages, like from Rhapsody (band) to Rhapsody of Fire: Use the "move" tab at the top of the page. This keeps the history of revisions to the page all in one place. I have tagged Rhapsody of Fire so that an administrator will do the merge. —Centrx→talk • 06:45, 23 July 2006 (UTC) Thanks for the tip man, i will use it.--Neo139 15:47, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD Nomination: Blasphemy (band)
I've nominated the article Blasphemy (band) for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Blasphemy (band) satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Blasphemy (band). Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Blasphemy (band) during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. [edit] About Disambigation Fixer
Hi! I would like to help about that project but I am not online at home. I have internet access only at work so you can contact me and I will answer you as soon as possible but maybe you will wait for half of a day (or few days if you try to contact me on weekend). I have idea about language. We can use Visual Studio 2005 Express Edition becouse it is very good and free and allows language combination (C++, C#, VB). It also allows us to do GUI design very easy and to move some parts of program to dll so we can divide job. I have professional programming expirience (I am programmer) and can do parts of program by myself.
Sorry for bad English,
Jakiša Tomić 14:56, 8 August 2006 (UTC) Thanks for the interensting in the project, but it seems someone had already created the tool time ago. Disambiguation fixer. I checked and tested the tool and it works perfectly. I will expand the article later and spread the tool. Thanks again for the help. --Neo139 23:15, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
Hi, so r u still looking for help in the project? I v seen the program, it's made in tcl, do u want to port it to another langage or you want to expand the current project (in tcl)? SuperAriel 18:59, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- I have tested the program and fixed more than 150 links with it. It works perfectly, and i don't think it necessary a remake version. It would be helpful to expand the current article about the program and when it's ready, i will spread the program to all the people that help fixing Disambiguation links. Thanks for be interested in the project. --Neo139 02:17, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Hi! I received a message from you saying that you were looking for programmers for the WikiProject Disambigation fixer, though I ended up reading it somewhat late... Am I still in time to take part in it? Greetings, Talos_DS 16:12, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- The project never started, i created the article asking for coders, and a guy show me that a similar program was already done, i download it, test it and it worked perfectly, so is not necesarry to make another tool. Thanks also your interest, if you can improve the article WikiProject Disambigation fixer i will thank you. --Neo139 19:50, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll take a look at it and try to improve it! Talos_DS 03:22, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] FPC Candidate (Siberian tiger)
A comment was recently posted by Samsara on the Siberian tiger FPC. It concerned placing the image in another article (see the subpage for the exact comment). I have now added the image to the stretching article, so you may or may not consider changing your vote (this is just to inform you of the change). Thanks. --Tewy 00:58, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- Good aplication of the image. :D --Neo139 04:06, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Queen
You have a copyrighted image on your user page, I will allow you to remove it yourself. It is the queen logo inside your queen userbox. Thank you. --WillMak050389 03:15, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
- This logo is to ilulustrate the band in a template. I made that image from other image:
. That image was uploaded a year ago, and its not a copyright infringement. If you think that logo is copyright infringment remove it. Remove it--Neo139 04:01, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Metalsign.jpg
I've reverted this image to an earlier version. This image is used on numerous talk pages, user pages, etc, and if a fair use image is uploaded in place of the free one, all those pages instantly violate fair use policy. I don't know what the purpose of the new image was, but it should be uploaded to a different filename so we won't have a fair use image outside articlespace. --Sam Blanning(talk) 00:18, 29 August 2006 (UTC) Ok--Neo139 10:09, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject Disambiguation Talk Request
This is a form message being sent to all WikiProject Disambiguation participants. I recently left a proposed banner idea on the WikiProject Disambiguation talk page and I would appreciate any input you could provide. Before it can be approved or denied, I would prefer a lot of feedback from multiple participants in the project. So if you have the time please join in the discussion to help improve the WikiProject. Keep up the good work in link repair and thanks for your time. Nehrams2020 21:50, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Metallica-logo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Metallica-logo.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

[edit] Rock music Wikiproject invitation
Hello WikiProject Metal member.
WikiProject Metal music is important in expanding encyclopedic coverage of the metal. It brings attention to the lesser-known bands, and significantly improves the quality of the famous ones. Five Featured articles and two formers is proof of that.
This is the stuff I wish to achieve with the somewhat recently resurrected WikiProject Rock music. I hope to also attract attention to rock music articles of all sorts, and hopefully change some to GA or FA status. I invite you to come join us, and embrace the links between metal and rock music in general.
Rock on.

[edit] Regarding edits made to Varg Vikernes
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Neo139! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule img[0-9]*\.imageshack\.us/img[0-9]*/.*\.jpg, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 00:27, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Karl Logan.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Karl Logan.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. [edit] Image:Manowar band.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Manowar band.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- moe.RON Let's talk | done 05:35, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

I ask you to please not readd the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 07:14, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Jason_Becker.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Jason_Becker.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. [edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:Manowar Logo.png
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Manowar Logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:24, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Darkmind
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Darkmind, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Darkmind. —Hello, Control Hello, Tony 18:28, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
