[edit] Marina
Please do not bring that back again. See WP:FICT, WP:WAF, and WP:N for the reasons. There is no way for you to bring this back without adding sourced real world information. If you don't feel like leaving it as a redirect, we can move on to the deletion progress. TTN 23:49, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
I have added real world information and references to everything that needed it. The first image (Image:Marina-Lifting.jpg) is taken from the game's Japanese cover. As for the second Image (Image:MarinaByTheBlackMarket.png) I have personally requested permission by artist (theBlackMarket) to use his drawing to wikipedia and he accepted. - Naming creators is not real world information in the sense of what we're talking about. You need most of the things below the third point in the above link to actually have it matter. A few names do not establish notability as all characters have them. TTN 00:11, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
I can't understand what is the problem. I do not just name the creators. There are cites where needed that explain where I took the information. Can you please tell me exactly in the article what's wrong? Neo001010100 00:17, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Neo
- You need information, not websites. The information needs to detail how the creators developed the character and how reviewers and the like review the character. TTN 00:21, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
"How the creators developed the character" What does that mean? Do I need to find information on the way they drew her? If that means character development as in personality , then as she is a game character everyone can watch how she is developed simply by playing the game. Right? Reviewers? Could you tell me an example of reviewers in a similar video game or video game character? Neo001010100 00:33, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Neo
- How they designed the characters look, personality, ect is but one single way to do it. In-game development is in-game, so you can tell me if it is real world information or not. Reviewers saying things like "...great character because...", "...personality was lacking...", and "...unique design..." would be what you need. TTN 00:37, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
"How they designed the characters look, personality, ect". The images that the article contains show how Marina is designed. The images are all made available in public by Treasure. As for her character the information is taken from the Japanese article about Mischief Makers and by the actual dialogs in the game. Do I need more details as what kind of pencils and software they used? There is no such information available. Do I have to be part of the actual game development team to write this? That's the only way to know such details. Please explain more.
This is a game that few people have played. Thus no one has ever reviewed the characters of the game, officially. There are reviews about the game yes. About it's characters no. The only reviews about Marina available can be found in small blogs. Neo001010100 00:54, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Neo
Alright I was wrong about the last one. I found some people's opinions in Ign which I am adding to the article and citing. Neo001010100 01:02, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Neo
- OK, I'm just going to put it up for deletion when I get the chance. TTN 01:10, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
No you shouldn't. I am asking for an explanation of what exactly I should correct!!! Answer to my last posts first please. Neo001010100 01:16, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Neo
- I have tried and failed to explain it to you. Please read over every inch of WP:FICT and WP:WAF. TTN 01:19, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
I have done that already. Let's try it again. Tell me exactly which section of the article you think it's wrong and why. (Psychical appearance, Personality, Skills and special abilities, Human form)Neo001010100 01:23, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Neo
Unfortunately I have some other work to do and I won't see your answer so soon so I am putting the article on redirect again temporarily. I am awaiting the explanation. Neo001010100 01:53, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Neo
The only way to have the article in existence is to have at least two sections: Development and reception. The development section should take information from interviews and other things that depict how Marina was designed, tweaked, and developed. This is the actual concept of the character, not how she appears in game. The reception section should contain information from reviews and other articles that describe the actual character in detail. These sections should be a couple of paragraphs each to stand on their own. That is the only way, and it must be followed closely. TTN 01:59, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
I am moving those pictures here until I finish the articles, since they will be deleted other way.
I have contracted the original creator of Marina so maybe I could get some info on the way she was drawn but he never replied and I don't think he will ever do. Once again I am saying there is NO information or concept art about Marina available online. What else is there to do? I am awaiting your response TTN and anyone who can help or provide advice please do. Neo001010100 14:39, 15 November 2007 (UTC)Neo
