Neola is a small town.most of the people that live their raise cattle, make hay and ride horses.Neola is utah's longest rodeo on the 4th of july. Many of the people who live there have lived there together for a long time like the olsen family, the dye family, the bingham family, the duncan family, the gline family, the larsen family, the warren family, the wilkerson family, the horrocks family and many more families. The small town has increased in population in the past few years.Neola's name means "move no more" in ute(a native language). The town also has native americans that live there too. They have a school there that has grades K-5th but when sixth grade comes for the child they have to go to a near by town to go to a school. It's a great place to fish and hunt. There are deer, elk and great horned sheep.Neola is a great place to come so come and visit some time.(the closest hotel is in roosevelt,a near by town)They have a lot of rodoes and on the 4th they have kids rodeos and barrel and pole racing.
