Neotyphodium chilense

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Neotyphodium chilense is a misclassification of the species Acremonium chilense.[1] Unlike the true Neotyphodium species, A. chilense is not phylogenetically affiliated with the Clavicipitaceae. Its relationship to other fungi in the order Hypocreales remains to be determined.
