Neot Kedumim

Neot Kedumim (Hebrew: נאות קדומים) is a national nature reserve near the Ben Shemen forest in central Israel, accessible from Highway 443.
Neot Kedumim is listed as a nonprofit corporation, and its land is owned by the Israeli land authority. The park covers an area of about 2500 dunams of hills. The Israeli botanist Noga HaReuveni was one of the iniators for the founding of Neot Kedumim. In 5754 (1993-4) he and the staff of Neot Kedumim received the Israel Prize for their unique contribution to society and the state.
The vision for the reserve began already during the Second Aliyah in 1925. In 1964, 2500 dunames were dedicated to Neot Kedumim in cooperation with former Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion.
Neot Kedumim offers many activities for visitors. It hosts tours for schools, other organized groups, families and individuals. In addition, weddings and birthdays can be celebrated there.
