Neodythemis afra is a species of dragonfly in family Libellulidae. It is found in Cameroon, Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, and Uganda. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
