NeoPac Lighting Group (Chinese:新強光電集團), headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, is a group of companies, comprising NeoPac Opto (Chinese:新強光電)and NeoBulb Lighting (Chinese:新強光). NeoPac Opto specializes in developing LED emitters and LED light engines, while NeoBulb Lighting is a LED light fixture provider. The Group and its subsidiaries own many branch offices all over the world. [1]

The products introduced by the Group are considered as those of most efficiency and top performance in the industry.[2][3] The power dissipiation technology adopted in its products allows the temperature of the P-n junction in LED to stay low and to produce enough luminous flux for general lighting at the same time.[4]

NeoPac Lighting was founded in 2005 by Jeffrey Chen, the former general manager of Yeh-Chiang Technology and current president and CEO of Neopac.

NeoPac Optoelectronics (NeoPac Opto) is a subsidiary company of NeoPac Lighting Group, providing critical components in LEDs general lighting, including NeoPac Light Engines, NeoPac Emitters, and drivers.

NeoPac Universal Platform (NUP) is a structural technology framework, integrating different levels of LED lighting components into one operational system. NeoBulb LED lighting devices and NeoPac Light Engines are developed based on NUP.

The concept of the Platform was proposed by and later materialized by NeoPac Lighting Group.

[edit] World Economic Forum: Inaugural Annual Meeting of the New Champions

In 2007, NeoPac Lighting Group Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Chen was invited by World Economic Forum (WEF) to attend the annual meeting in Dalian, China. Chen participated the meeting as a group leader in both "Frontiers of Green Technology" and "SlimCity: Building Urban Champions" discussion sessions.[6]

  • July, 2007 MoEA (Ministry of Economic Affairs) of Taiwan installed NeoBulb products in the parking lot and for signage lighting in their main office building on Fuzhou street.
  • August, 2007 NeoBulb Outdoor Twins for wall washing application were installed in Xingtian Temple.
  • August, 2007 Around 50 Boulevard 126 (126W warm white LED street light) were installed in Tianjin, China.
