This isn't helpful. Picaroon (t) 01:21, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

I disagree. --NEMT (talk) 01:22, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Let me be more specific: This isn't helpful to Wikipedia. Nor are other such edits, which you have made before. Please desist with the vandalism. Picaroon (t) 01:31, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Let's get one thing straight: that wasn't vandalism, it was a typo. Sorry for gate crashing, but WP:AGF. I'm not speaking Swahili, here. --NEMT (talk) 01:40, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
I have no intention of getting into a drawn-out argument with you about whether those edits are vandalism; you can think whatever you want. But I do want to make it clear that further such edits, be they "typos" or something else, will result in a block. Picaroon (t) 01:44, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Bring it OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON raga! This baby people call a ride, is owned by a friend of mine. --NEMT (talk) 01:49, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Unhelpfulness = stressed editor?

While I understand that you might feel frustrated from time to time, edits like this are not helpful. If you don't like it here that much, you can always disappear. However, a good number of us would prefer that users with genuine knowledge, or at least access to information, learn the best practices of editing here and contribute effectively. If you're geniunely stressed, consider stepping away for a while so as not to get too emotionally invested in what is not worth your health or sanity. I was of the impression "Feel free to change the text below this line. No profanity, please." did not imply "but only if it's overtly helpful and factual." --NEMT (talk) 20:38, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
I think you are just being coy and manipulative. We're just trying to create and maintain a comprehensive encyclopedia here. Why do want to disrupt that process? - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 20:40, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Sagat (rapper)

As they say in the movies, "oh be-have". Seriously, though, we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so don't make joke edits. Some readers looking for a serious article might not find them amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do a bit seriously here. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write whatever you want (as long as it's not offensive). Maybe you should check out Wikipedia:Bad Jokes and Other Deleted Nonsense. JuJube (talk) 22:44, 16 March 2008 (UTC) JuJube (talk) 22:44, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
It was not nonsense, it was an accurate introduction that added to a stub level article. --NEMT (talk) 01:53, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
No it wasn't. JuJube (talk) 03:16, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Yes it was. --NEMT (talk) 03:49, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
