[edit] I don't know the family
I don't know the family for the taxobox. If anyone finds it please add it. Thanks. Grundle2600 (talk) 19:56, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- Nemicolopterus is described as a basal member of the Dsungaripteroidea.--MWAK (talk) 08:54, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

- But Dinoguy is right: it is here essentially used as a clade concept. --MWAK (talk) 19:45, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
- Right. In all our other articles we're using Unwin's superfamilies/clades. Kellner takes the traditional superfamilies and uses them in a completely different way, as nested sequence leading up to the azhdarchs. Pterodactyloidea contains Dsungaripteroidea contains Ornithocheiroidea. I prefer Unwin's method as it preserved the original usage and doesn't shatter every ICZN rule in the book if you transliterate the phylogeny into a taxonomy. ;) You can see both versions here List of pterosaur classifications.
