Nemadoras is a genus of catfishes (order Siluriformes) of the family Doradidae. This genus includes five species, N. elongatus, N. hemipeltis, N. humeralis, N. leporhinus, and N. trimaculatus.[1]
These species range in size from about 8–15 centimetres (3–6 in) SL.[2][3][4][5][6]
Nemadoras species are found in South America. N. elongatus, N. hemipeltis, and N. humeralis originate from the Amazon River basin.[2][3][4] N. leporhinus inhabits the Orinoco, Branco, and Essequibo River basins.[5] N. trimaculatus inhabits the Amazon, Orinoco, and Essequibo River basins.[6]
