[edit] Discussion

This article has officially been "unstubbified" Longevitymonger

[edit] Redundancy eliminated

In order to fight redundancy, I changed "Franklin D. Roosevelt appointed her as the first woman director of the U.S. Mint on May 3, 1933, (she was the first woman to hold that post as well) where she served five full terms until her retirement in 1953, when the Republicans regained the White House" to "Franklin D. Roosevelt appointed her as the first female director of the U.S. Mint on May 3, 1933, where she served five full terms until her retirement in 1953, when the Republicans regained the White House." [edit] Birthplace

I changed it to reflect the actual birthplace in Andrew County. Amazonia is part of the St. Joseph metropolitan area and so St. Joseph is often used in the biographies. But the cited sources narrow it down to a more specific location. Americasroof 20:30, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Name

Nellie Tayloe Ross is incorrect, it should be Nellie Taylor Ross. 72.147.136.9 (talk) 00:21, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, its pretty clearly Tayloe. See [1] CosmicPenguin (Talk) 01:59, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "Official" Homepage and Documentary

This website appears to have been created by her grandchildren and has some useful information. It also appears to be promoting an upcoming documentary so I'm not sure if it should be on the front page. Ando228 (talk) 17:56, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
