Is there a policy on linking to ACM articles? You have to pay to read them. -(unsigned by 216.251.209.111)

The ACM is like any journal: you cite it for references where appropriate. The fact that they happen to have a site we can link to is just a bonus. You could argue that the link in question belongs under references, but as it was not a reference used in creating the article, I'm not sure that it technically belongs in that section.
Short answer: I don't think it's a concern. The ACM isn't trolling for hits on Wikipedia. -Harmil 22:08, 9 September 2005 (UTC)

The additions to this page are quite useful, but it is difficult to verify the details. Any assistance in finding citations for this information would be appreciated. I did remove the bit about ADA. It's seemed too anachonistic, since ADA wasn't even a request for specification until 1978... was NELIAC still active that late? -Harmil 05:05, 2 October 2005 (UTC)
