The Nelson green gecko or starry tree gecko, Naultinus stellatus, is a gecko of the family Gekkonidae.

The Nelson green gecko is endemic to New Zealand, found only in the Nelson area of the South Island.

This gekkonid is active during the day, living in areas of scrub or relatively open bush. They eat mainly insects, particularly moths.

These geckos are born dark green with white markings, but change to their adult coloration at 18 months to two years of age. The adult coloration is quite variable in pattern and colour.
Reproduction is viviparous. Young (usually twins) are born in the autumn or early winter.
