Nelas (pron. IPA: ['nɛlɐʃ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 125.7 km² and a total population of 14,504 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 9 parishes and is located in the district of Viseu.
The present mayor is Isaura Leonor Pedro, elected by a coalition between the Social Democratic Party and the People's Party.
The municipal holiday is June 24.
