Neill Roberts

Neill Roberts is a former North American soccer professional player of South African birth.

Roberts played six seasons in the North American Soccer League - 1979 with the Atlanta Chiefs , 1980 and '81 with the Tampa Bay Rowdies, part of '82 with the Edmonton Drillers, part of'82 and all of '83 with the Toronto Blizzard, and 1984 back in Tampa Bay. He was the league's 6th leading scorer in 1982 with 42 points in 12 games, and the 15th leading scorer in 1984 with 23 points in 23 games. He was the league's 24th all-time leading scorer with 156 points in 143 career games.

Roberts played indoor soccer in 1984 for the Rowdies and then in the original MISL in 1985-86 for the Chicago Sting and 1986-87 for the Wichita Wings.

Roberts currently coaches the U-11 (Mutiny) boys team of F.C. Tampa youth soccer organization in Tampa, Florida.
