Neil Thomas Richardson (born March 3, 1968 in Sunderland, England) is an English former footballer.

Richardson joined Rotherham United from Brandon United in August 1989. He had a loan at Exeter City in 1996. After making 226 appearances and scoring 12 goals for Rotherham, he joined Mansfield Town in August 1999. He retired from playing after making 35 appearances for the club.[1]

[edit] Coaching

After being a coach at Mansfield Town,[2] he became Boston United's head of youth football in April 2005.[3] He worked as caretaker youth coach at York City in 2006, and said he would be interested in taking the job on a permanent basis.[2]
