Neil Reilly, born in Middleboro Massachusetts, is a composer, orchestrator, and performer. He is student in Composition at the Boston Conservatory of Music, Dance & Theater. Having studied music formally since the age of seven; he is trained in violin, arranging, musical theory, piano, conducting, voice, and trumpet. He has conducted, arranged for, and performed in the Coyle & Cassidy Concert Ensembles for four years, as a violinist, pianist, and tenor. He was also accepted into the 2008 Senior District Festival, and performed as a tenor in the chorus, and he placed second in their composition contest. For three years he has worked for Bridgewater State College's "Arts for Youth," as an assistant music teacher and as an arranger and orchestrator, he now holds the position of musical director. He is also the accompanist and assistant musical director of Joseph H. Martin Middle School in East Taunton, were also does arrangements for their senior chorus. His training in arranging was overseen by Mr. David Renoni, the music director of Coyle & Cassidy High School, and his first arrangements were for the Coyle and Cassidy Concert Ensembles. He has studied under Dr. Nancy Norton, in music education at the Joseph H. Martin School. He now does the arrangements for the a cappella choir the Saturday Afternoon Thespians of Boston. He has been honored with both the National Choral Award and the John Philip Sousa Band Award.
