Neil Primrose, 7th Earl of Rosebery

Neil Archibald Primrose, 7th Earl of Rosebery (b. 11 February 1929), is a Scottish nobleman.

The eldest surviving son of the 6th Earl of Rosebery, his paternal grandmother was the heiress Hannah, Countess of Rosebery reputed during the late 19th century to be the richest woman in England. [1] Rosebery was educated at Stowe and New College, Oxford. He was appointed Deputy Lieutenant of Midlothian in 1960. He succeeded his father as Earl in 1974. Rosebery resides at the family seat Dalmeny House near Edinburgh with his wife Diedre.

The Earl and Countess of Rosebery have five children, four daughters and a son. Their son, and youngest child, Harry Primrose bears the courtesy title Lord Dalmeny as heir to the Rosebery earldom
