Neil 'Nobby' Clarke (August 28, 1957 - March 29, 2003) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the VFL.
A defender, Clarke was also given many tagging roles during his career. He won Essendon's 'Best Clubman' in their premiership year of 1984 and went on to play 135 VFL games.
Clarke died suddenly in 2003 at the of just 45, he had been known to have been suffering from depression.
