Neil Chalmers

Sir Neil Chalmers, formerly Director of the Natural History Museum, is Warden of Wadham College, Oxford.
Neil Chalmers was educated at King's College School, Magdalen College, Oxford, and St John's College, Cambridge.
From 1970 until 1988 he worked for the Open University. He became Director of the Natural History Museum in 1988 and Warden of Wadham College, Oxford in 2004.
He was appointed Knight Bachelor by HM The Queen in 2001.
