He was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan on November 19, 1938 and had a career in education.
[edit] Provincial Politics
In 1989, he ran as the Equality Party candidate in the Montreal riding of Jacques-Cartier and won, defeating Liberal incumbent Joan Dougherty and becoming a Member of the National Assembly of Quebec.
Cameron was defeated by Liberal candidate Geoffrey Kelly in 1994.
