Nei Lak Shan (Chinese: 彌勒山) is the sixth highest hill in Hong Kong. With height 751 m (2,464 ft) on the Lantau Island, it is situated immediate north of Ngong Ping where Buddhist Po Lin Monastery located. Nei Lak, or correctly Mei Lak is a Cantonese language translation of Maitreya, the future Buddha, in Buddhism.
There will be a stop of an under-construction cable car project, Ngong Ping Skyrail, in the hill.
