Nei District, Toyama

Nei (婦負郡; -gun) was a district located in Toyama, Japan.

As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 61,601 and a density of 159.56 persons per km². The total area is 386.06 km².

The district was dissolved on April 1, 2005, when the municipalities of Fuchu, Hosoiri, Yamada and Yatsuo merged with the towns of Osawano and Oyama from Kaminiikawa District and the old city of Toyama to form the new city of Toyama. Kaminiikawa District also dissolved as the result of this merger.
